Conference venue

The conference will be held in the George Fox complex of Lancaster University, with accommodation on the University campus.

About Lancaster

The town and University of Lancaster are situated in the north-west of England, with easy access by road, rail and air. The University campus is set in 250 acres of parkland and woods, just outside the city. Both the Lake District and the Scottish border are easily accessible from Lancaster, and excursions to Anglo-Saxon and Anglo-Scandinavian runic inscriptions in these areas will be organised as part of the conference.

Publication

Papers given at the Symposium will be considered for publication in a volume of proceedings to be edited by Michael Barnes. A style sheet will be distributed at the conference, and papers will need to be submitted by 31 December 2005.
